about

1) talk about portfolio’s, do’s and dont's, and mostly a behind-the-scenes of how they are perceived by receivers

2) getting feedback + working on your portfolio

3) speeddates w/ art spaces (connected to Noordenaars) with your new portfolio.

This event will begin with a short talk about dos and don'ts. After that we (Jonathan van Doornum, Roosje Klap, and Ellen de Haan) will delve deeper into their own experiences of how portfolios are received, viewed, and assessed in applications and open calls. During the work session you can refine your portfolio while the speakers drop by to give advice on selection, design, content, and documentation.

This updated portfolio will be tested immediately through individual speed dates with some of the art spaces connected to Noordenaars, to get to know each other and your work better. We will end the day with a moment of reflection and drinks.
